Greetings, everyone! My name is Kyence. I had pre-ordered the VXAce edition, but only registered for the forum today.

I was first introduced to the RPGMaker software way back on the PSX. I spent hours playing with the graphics and events. I tinkered with RPG2K, but never ended up doing much in terms of game development with it. Last year, I started playing around with RPGMaker XP and was impressed with how it had evolved. VXAce has a nice blend of VX and XP, and the scripting capabilities have vast potential.

I am a bit of an old lady (30's), so I have a bias towards old-fashioned, menu-driven RPG/Strategy games. The original Phantasy Star games and the Lunar series are my all-times favorites.

I look forward to being a part of the RPGMaker community!

Regardless, no matter your age, as long as you're an avid RPG lover you'll get along just fine here, plus great taste in games is a bonus!

I turn 31 next week and my office mates laugh when I claim to be old. The 30s are the new 20s.

Anyway, I imagine you will find many folks here that grew up in the same era that you did. Some of the best classic RPGs were from back then. I think you'll fit right in.
