This is wonderful stuff. Cant stop watching the videos on a well known site. That I dare not say as this is my first post.

I`m Old skool gamer that's. Been using the 30day Try it models of Vx ace lite and on another computer MV model. Before I make the leap to go all in. I`m a little confused. Which one do I get VX ace (not the lite) or MV.

They both have a massive collection of content. I`ve worked out that MV means Mobile Version. I think fingers crossed I`m right.

MV build/model will still let me play it on my pc also export it my. Mobile device.

Any help would sort the confuse out. As I feel like I`ve been given the muddle spell 

Please be gentle as I`m a newbie.

MV can do everything that Ace can do and added a lot more options.


Ace has only two advantages at the moment:


1) price - especially if you wait for a sale of the steam version on one of the gaming sites, you can get Ace a lot cheaper (was up to 85% off several times in the last half year)


2) community resources: Ace has all the scripts and tilesets and sprites done in four years by users, MV was released only two weeks ago.


The community works hard to get a lot of the resources rebuild for MV, but it will take time to get to the same amount available to Ace.


In General, the advantages of MV are worth more unless you require something specific from Ace

Thank you for you reply. Its really helped on clearing up the confusion. Between the two products.

Just need to sit down and have a think about my budget. As I`m looking to buy photoshop also. Mv may have a while to provide its true power. But will hold out a number of years before its replacement comes along. Ace is there with its resources and support but its shelf life is some thing that. We all worry about. Windows is a prime example.
