RPG Maker Forums

Hi everyone!

I'm TheGameBrewery and have earned that name. My entire life I've been involved with the craft beer industry. Mostly manufacturing, service, and sales of the breweries themselves but, hey, it's a living. But that's not why I'm here! I'm new to these here forums after many years of lurking figured it's probably a good idea to sign up and benefit from the fountain of knowledge contained within.

I mostly focus on writing, design, and eventing but have dabbled in art (I'm hideously terrible). Mostly work on my own due to my hectic schedule (I have a toddler) but may finally branch out in the future.

I've been using VX Ace since December of 2012 and continue to use it to this day. I may upgrade but know the system so well and can't really afford to move up. I released my first game in October of 2013, Final Warrior Quest. It's Steam page was just approved a few days ago too!

Last week I released my second game after start and stop development for about 5 years, Agent of Fate. I did all the art myself and directed my friend in the voice acting.

Both Final Warrior Quest and Agent of Fate were developed while I was in Japan so I can, without any irony, call them JRPGs.

Thanks for having me!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
