Hello... Got a problem at hand.

Recently, whenever i choose the top row on the character sheet (the character facing down) and start the 

game it automatically chooses the last row (which is the character facing up) does anybody know what's

going on here?

the sprite selection is usually determined by the facing of that event and changed automatically.

To prevent that, you need to check "direction fix" on the event - that prevents automatic changes (but you can still turn the event manually by the move command)

I tried that, still not working :(  maybe it's a script that I added to my project? (only victory aftermath,exp gauge and expbar scripts)

Are you running any events on that map that is forcing the player to move? Does it happen on every map you start in?

Yeah, but only after i talk to the guy in the pic, so it's not an autorun event.

Yeah it happens on every map even treasure chest (even though the treasure chest is not looted it shows that

that it's opened but the event works regardless, the second row and the third row works just fine, it's like the first

row directs me to the fourth row)  :(

if that happens to a chest created by the quick event creation (with no modifications after creation), then it can't be something wrong with the event itself that's causing this.

So you'll have to look for changes done by scripts - can you list all scripts you've added, and tell if (and where) you changed either the default scripts or the new scripts?

The only thing i've changed is the scroll text speed.

Edit, i found out the problem and fixed it, it was from the Game_CharacterBase.

I copied the script from a new project and simply overwriten my old and that fixed it, much appreciated guys :) !

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
