Hi-Diddly-iddly-ho Neighborino's! I am Alys and I'm lost! Stupid birds keep eating my bread crumbs....

Excuse the sillyness, I'm running on little to no sleep, energy drinks and cookies.

I am a long time RM user, starting off with XP back in 05/6. I never really made anything though as I was too childish back then to think up of a good story (or make my own tilesets) I picked up VX Ace a while ago, but have only started using it recently.

I can't say if I like it or not yet as I've only managed a few hours worth of... oh wow.. okay I've been using it for about 8 hours on and off (leaving it running to look at tutorials and etc) So far I've made a little Demo area and have tried to use as many "events" I possibly could.

So far I've managed to give my Demo character 5g, got killed by a super high-powered succubus after pissing her off, turned said succubus into an "ice crystal" after reading a book, fall through the floor, pan the camera and move the character up... had dialogue with a "boss", fight said "boss", only to have him quit fighting after he lost 50% of his health and had him collapse/die on screen to reveal the death animation(I'm using it to show an evil spirit leaving him)... feeling ballon things! and of course chests and doors.

How am I doing so far? lol

Hehe keep up the good work in knowing the nooks and crannies of this game engine and you will most certainly make a good game, welcome to the community.

Don't hesitate to ask for help, I am sure people and myself will be willing to help in the best of our abilities.

The catch on using Meteor is that it kills the user xD. It's like Selfdestruct, but better.

For a gun? No, protect works. Shell doesn't even stop Meteo/Meteor though lol.
