So, hi! I'm Victoria. ^_^ I tend to be a bit shy and lurker-ish in online communities, but I've been dabbling in RPG Maker off-and-on for the last year or so. Now that I'm getting more serious about it (in the best possible way), I decided to be brave and dive into these forums, which seem like a delightfully mischievous/inspiring/kooky/helpful place to be.

I do have a few game ideas I plan to develop in the future, but for now I'm using VX Ace to create a different kind of writing tracker for fiction writers. It's giving me a chance to tinker with scripts and explore the capabilities of the program (and, more importantly, my own capabilities), so I'm really enjoying it. ^_^ I'm a complete n00b when it comes to any kind of programming, but I love the bits and pieces I've done so far. I've been rewatching YouTube tutorials on programming in different game engines, and I'm understanding more than I used to, so I think the underlying concepts are starting to sink in, at least a little. That gives me hope that it's starting to stick. Besides, it's so much fun! =D

Hi, Victoria! Welcome to the forums. Don't worry about being shy. Almost everyone around here describes themselves in this way. Glad you enjoy creating with RPG Maker. I kinda started out the same way a couple years ago. Wish I had something clever to say about scones. To be honest, I'm not sure if I ever had one.

It was nice to meet you. You'll almost certainly see me around. I just earned my Addicted trophy/badge thing so ... yeah.

@Frogboy - Ooo, you're in for a treat someday, then, if you have yet to have a scone! Especially if it's one of the good ones, where you can break it apart and see the buttery layers ... Yum. And congrats on your Addicted trophy! It's easy to see how that could happen here. XD
