Hello! I'm proud new owner of RPG maker VX Ace and...

I'm completely and utterly lost in how to use it!XD

Well, not comletely...I used VX for a while... >.>

Point is, I just need to get my barrings down and see if I can fin resources and scripts similar to what VX has that can be used in Ace as well a good example being the tentakai script I have in my current VX(not ace) game I'm making. I would transfer everything over if not for the fact that I worry about not having the functionailty or features my current scripts in that one give.

Which is why I made an account here!

Anyways, I'll be sure to take a look around and with luck I can transfer my VX game files to my Ace project.

Alot of VX scripts have been re-written for vx ace, such as the battle script you mention...
 

The master script list is a great place to start looking for scripts that have the features you want/need..

Also, there will be scripts that simply blow your mind with the features they have compared to similar scripts you may have found for vx.. I know for sure that a few of my scripts are insane in terms of the customization and control they offer you.

WOW! That's a lot of scripts...

Using control+F....really? Ugh....someone needs to sort that wiki by catagory with quick links to said catagory.

There are no quicklinks, but you can sort that table in several ways by clicking on the headers - sort by autor, sort by name, sort by category and so on.
Or you can mark the table, copy it into a spreadsheet program and use it from there, I did that some time ago when I was checking every script to see what I could use...
