Hello All! I'm writing a video game with my daughters, aged 7 and 10. My 7 year old likes to draw maps and my 10 year old does QA (quality assurance). I started working on this video game because I miss coding. I used to write enterprise software for Fortune 100 companies and now I am in management and no longer get to code. I love that RPG Maker MV uses Javascript! I was able to make my children's somewhat juvenile ideas come to life - I created a "Can of Beans" item that when thrown at an enemy, causes the enemy to "fart" (sound effects and all...) and then the other enemies express their disgust and run away. It feels so good to code again!
