Hey there! You guys can call me Patti, I'm Dutch so I'm sorry if there are some mistakes in my English (ó n ò)

I'm pretty new to this forum so I'm not very familiar with how things work here ^ u ^;;

I bought RPG Maker VX Ace about 2-3 weeks ago when it was for sale on steam.

I've messed around with it quite a bit and I really enjoy doing so, though obviously I still need to learn lots about it!

I'm trying to make my first very short game right now, it probably won't be very long and won't have much of a plot since it's mainly for me to get used to eventing and such c: However I'd love to hear what you guys think of it as soon as it's done, of course I'd gladly help you guys out with reviewing your games as well!

I also love to play demos! So let me know if you have one! ^^

Don't be afraid to message me about anything! I'd love to meet some new people on this site ~♥

(I hope I did the tags right ; o ;)

Welcome to the forums!

My own game was also pretty light on the Plot, since I wanted to test the gameplay waters before I invested heavily in story telling. I'd love to try out your game in the future in order to help you when you decide to make bigger games.

It's always good to make new friends! You sound like you'll get along fine with the people here, who also want to make game making friends.

Your name sounds like a very American way to say a very British thing. "Hey, Bob, want to have a Tea Party?"

"Naw, man! I wanna T-PATTY! :D"

With that awkward comment, I welcome thee and thy projects to the forum! Enjoy your time here!

Welcome, Patti.

Definitely create a small, light on or no-story game, where you get the feel for things like mapping, event management and the likes.  For me, mapping is the most challenging, since I need to clearly see in my mind what I need, then pick the pieces which form that image.

But, for me, it's a huge improvement over me trying to draw everything.

Hey TeaPatti! I'd be more than happy to give feedback on your projects. I'm big on testing things out, like mechanics and tend to do things normal players don't, lol.

But take it one game at a time, and you'll get far. Welcome to RPG Maker!

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
