Been lurking around two weeks and forgot to introduce myself. Oops.

Hi everyone!

I'm Alkorri. I am a Malaysian somewhat settled in Texas. I had a perfectly decent career - nine years as a journalist - before I crazily gave it all up to study creative writing degree in UK. Now I'm near penniless and don't regret it a single bit. Because I'm doing what I love  

I currently work freelance as a writer, editor and proofreader. I've also worked in games (nothing AAA), still am, and loving it.

I think this is an amazing community with very responsive staff, and am very glad to meet you all!
