So I'm brand new to all of this, havejust bought rpg maker xp, cause im cheap like that. Anyway i look forward to getting to know some of you (if anyone)

Hello and welcome to the very nice community.

XP is still a very neat RPG Maker.
I still use it and try to finish a project there. The mapping is really great, but kinda time consuming.
For the bigger characters and mapping, I actually prefer XP. In eventing it's allmost the same, only the menu order is a bit messy in XP.
But if you get used to it, you can create events same as fast, as you would do with VX Ace.

I've been here for a while and here are many friendly and helpful persons around.

Heya, welcome to the forums.


XP is still an awesome engine, so no need to feel like it's an inferior product because it was cheaper
