Help creating an 'enemy chase player' event

I just want to create a simple event that checks the player's x/y and will have the event chase them if the player within 4 tiles

That help some?

Enable the plugin:

Then use a notetag on the event like so:

<chase:!$gameSelfSwitches.value([$gameMap._mapId, this._eventId, 'A'])>
That will chase the player while self switch 'A' is OFF. :cutesmile:

Haven't really made it too customizable yet but that the idea you were looking for?
