Help(!) Customizable Player Hub

Hi Guys,


So I am looking to create a player map that acts as a "Hub". This is a large part of my game as it will always act as your main hub.


I want this hub, to be customizable, in terms of you can build/upgrade buildings, in pre-determined spaces.


Example.


You have a map, with the first options being to build an Inn, a Crafting Shop and a Storage Shed


Each one of these buildings area has been set by me.


What would be the best way to go about doing this?


My current idea


So I'd have maps designed for every scenario.


So


a Map with just an Inn


a Map with just a Storage Shed


a Map with just a Crating shop


You select the option, you re-instance to the map with the selected building.


Following on....


example 2:


You picked the Inn and now have the option to choose storage shed and crafting shop


You pick the SHED!


Adding to the idea


So now I will need


A map containing an Inn and a Shed


A map containing an Inn and a Crafting shop 


since shed was chosen then it would re-instance to the map "Inn and Shed" 


----I would also need other combinations of maps to cover EVERY branch of choices a person can take.


As you can imagine, as the more choices become available, I will start creating a huge amount of maps just to add buildings depending on choice, Is there a better way to do this?

Swag collecting in the new randomly generated area. Now the mini map also shows the randomly generated features... And even illustrates the whole "bubble" system" that I made to manage memory... Though that part's inadvertent. We'll just call that "the fog of war"... Yes, that's what we'll do. Nobody will be the wiser! :kaopride:

One thing those jp developer still get wrong about boob physic is that... men's muscly hard pecs can jiggle too.
