Ok guys I'm pretty new to MV and so this may have been answered but I havn't found a working solution so here goes.

My issue is when playtesting my game in MV my gamepad (Ibuffalo SNES model, which works in EMU perfect and also when setting up USB controllers) Does not function correctly

the D-Pad does not work at all but all other buttons work correctly I've even tried using the vanfly plugin for gamepad and It lets me set up all the buttons (which work great) but the D-pad.

wondering ifd any of you guys know an easy fix? its gotta be something to do with MV because it works fine with VX Ace and also Emulators/configutation Ect.

I use a Logitech F310 along with the script for gamepadconfig.js and don't have any issues. I don't remember if the script is a default one in MV or if you have to get it somewhere else, like from yanfly or another. I also use this with my steam games and PS 1 and 2 EMU with no issues.  Maybe try checking the settings in MV for the script if you have it.

whats up man thanks for the response, and yes I do have that plugin and also turned on, it seems to do the same thing with it on and off the only thing that changes is it gives me an option in options to set my keys (besides movement) all work perfect but the D-pad, and also to clarify the d pad is getting input from the controller and after testing it it does  allow me to move up and down but when it goes that direction i dip like the key is stuck up and if i mess with it enough i can make myself go down but again same thing its stuck and I keep going. It's super weird because I was just using it in my SNES emu and it works flawwlesssly, I really hope someone can help me with this cause I bought this program for the nostalgic feeling and if i cant use my controller with it that'll bum me out lol

UPDATE: found a weird (kinda) solution so there is this app called Ultimate Gamepad (for Iphone) and it turns my phone into a wireless game pad and that works great. so kinda cool that the d-pad works on that, still pretty bummed it doesn't work with my Snes Ibuffalo controller. I need either a custom plugin made or something...so on the hunt I shall go.

I know this thread is old, but I found the solution. Underneath your controller is a X and D switch. Make sure the switch is on D for RPG Maker games and just switch to X for your other games.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
