I'm creating an RPG game using RPG maker VX Ace that will teach small business owners the basics of online marketing. The game will be free to play and will hopefully be a big hit. The only problem is, downloading the game isn't an option. I'm looking for a way to put it up on my server so anyone can play for free.

If anyone can help me do this they would get a big spot in a credits or we could find some other form of payment. Please let me know if anyone is willing to try. I'm new to programming and don't have the skills to get this done quickly.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.  :D

RPG Maker doesn't support online play, and to have it running on your internet server you need a full server program written from scratch.

That's not something easily done - you'll need the work of half a dozen programmers for several months to write such a program - and I don't think that you'll get such a thing for free.

My personal estimate for having such a server program written is in the tens of thousands dollars.

Or in other words: If you want a server-based game, you're better off looking for another engine to make that game.

If you want to have it done in RPGM, you'll have to make it downloadable and single player.

I would consider flash or unity which natively supports browser games.

You can also look at http://rpgjs.com/ which appears to support RPGXP games

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
