Hello, I was looking to improve my Event-ing of a Time System. Currently, What i have done is this :

- Divide a day into 5 Time Scales - Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night, Twilight, I will refer to these as "Time Periods" from now on
- Assign Visual Indicators for each of these Time Periods along with a Fixed Duration
- Assign respective Time Period Switch to turn on, while the other Time Period Switches remain turned off, Depending on the Time Period
- Assign this on Parallel Process so i can spawn mobs or carry out Weather events with a % Chance with Variables to trigger during that Time-Period


So far, everything is going great for my Game, However my problem is it resets on Map Transfer. Once you travel to another map, The whole thing resets. This is troublesome because my Game has many Maps which Player passes back and forth.

Is there a way to make this apply Globally to all Maps and not reset on Map Transfer ?

You would need to show us screenshots of your events so we can see how you've done things, in order to see why it's breaking.

If have set the parallel process event to 2 connected maps, does it still reset when transferring between them? Because if you set the time system to a variable, that variable doesn't reset automatically when transferring between maps. Just set a variable to increase at a set interval & change whatever switches and/or variables are used to keep track of the Time Period & events that are exclusive to them.

If you run this time system in every map, it should keep going without any interruption.

Thank you for the suggestion, That's a new way that I hadn't known about, to setup a Time-System. I found a video on Youtube explaining this. Want to share it just in case anyone else comes across the same issue :

Why not use moghunter time system? It already got everything you described. He also allow for commercial use.
It is very reliable time system that doesn’t affected by map change.
It is really surprising he didn’t try to sell it.

@mightyckf MOG is a good one, bt it also allows years, season,
there are also other one like LMN TimeSystem, with tinting the hours.
but I dont got that one to work yet.

when you event it and use for example Khas ultralighting plugin, you have more
possibilities than an plugin allows too (unless you modify it).

if you only need hours and minutes, eventing it or use LMN can be usefull,
but if you want it unique and more dynamic, eventing is the way to go unless
you know how to create a plugin in the exact way you need it for :)
