Is it possible for me to increase the icon sizes. I only want them a little bigger to help me make more variety in my icons.
I know yanfly has a script , but i think that only changes the icon for a picture in a certain menu in game.

The game i want to produce is very heavy in items, thus i need more size to produce more icons. 24x24 is very limiting.

Before i thought to try solve the problem this way, I was trying to increase the DPI in gimp. But I think my understanding of digital art is more limited than I thought.
For example : When i take a pic of any size and resize it to 24x24, it looses all its res. and just becomes a blur, but before i click to actuly resize it, its a perfect mini clone of the original, why must it loose all that detail ?,

I think I dont have a full grasp of resolution.

As I belive it, there is not "set" size for PPI so isint it possible to change it, either with gimp or another program ?

To be clear: I want to draw in the "24x24" area but have 48 sqaured DPI.

I would be thankful of any help..cheers.

'Product Discussion and Support' is about the various dlc that you can buy.

You haven't specified in the information under your avatar which engine you are using, nor do you specifically mention it in your post. However, I am going to assume that this is VX Ace because of your reference to 24 x 24. There is, I believe, a script which allows you to have big icons, because I seem to remember Avery making some, so in the first instance I'll move this to Script Requests.

And you die misunderstand how pixels work.

The pixel numbers are the real size, you can not have a difference there.
You can make icons in 24*24, or in 32*32 or in 48*48, but that then needs to be directly used.
It is impossible to make a 48*48 icon fit into an 24*24 one.

Changing the dpi would required you to change the entire screen size, and if you're using VXA then that is limited to a max of 640x480, so you simply can't double dpi. Only MV has the option to go to larger resolutions.
