HELP! player won't move after door transfer to new map?

After the player goes through a door that transports them to a new map, the player will no longer move or even turn. There is a single event in which the character graphic changes and dialogue happens. After that, the player can't move! How do I make this autorun event stop after the dialogue so that it doesn't restrain the player from moving??

You have an event that is set to autorun that is not ending.

If you have only one event on the map, and the dialogue doesn't repeat, see if you are activating a second tab that has Autorun as the trigger. Change it to Action Button.

If that doesn't work, see if you are also turning on a switch during the transfer event, and if that switch activates a common event that is set to autorun.

Even an autorun event that has no commands will freeze the player.


Also, are you using MZ (which is where you posted) or Ace (which is what your profile says you primarily use)?

Make the last command in the autorun event Set Self-Switch. Make a second page on that event with the condition of that self-switch and nothing in it.
