Help guys pls.

I am just new to RPG making with MV and I want to make one . I really want to make my battle system or it's effects and skills more appealing. With Yanfly's Action Sequence Pack 2 plugin, I can make that game I dreamt of doing, but sadly, I don't know how or where to put the "Tags" for the plugin.

I don't really know anything about the matter of how or where to put the tags, but I do know that the Note area is where we put notes or the tags, I tried to put  some tags/notes in MV's default Attack skill, I really hoped to make the player approach the target enemy and hit it with the attack then go back, but nothing happens.

PLEASE HELP.

Thank you in advance to those who will help me, And I would definitely appreciate it.

RMMV
A very simple Action Sequence for what you want to achieve would be this:

You can simply copy and paste this into the note box of your attack skill, then every time the normal attack is used, the attacker (actor or enemy) steps up to the target.

<target action>

move user: target, front base

wait for movement

perform action

motion wait: user

action animation

wait for animation

action effect: target

</target action>

This is what is does:

- let the attacker step up in front of the target

- wait for the attacker to finish the movement

- show the attack motion

- wait for the motion to show

- show the skill animation

- wait for the animation to finish

- apply damage to the target

If you want to learn more about Action Sequences in general, this would be a good place to start:

You might also want to watch the other videos about Action Sequences on the same channel, or look into the Help file for the Action Sequence plugins to find all the different notetags you can use.

Hope that helps :)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
