Help/Request for 2 scripts

Hey all! I had an idea to implement 2 scripts in my game, but I had no luck to find any. The one I found are all dead links and can't download demo/script or can't download pictures needed to work.


1) Lock pick scripts: I need for VX Ace an interactive mini-game script. I found only one that works, but when I transfered the script in my game, the game couldn't read picture. Was trying to fix it for almost 2 hours and didn't work.


2) Travelers diary script: Script where event's are writen down like :"Today I fought Bandits" or "On that and that day I finished quest or met someone important".   (NOT QUEST JOURNAL)


I was searching for those 2 scripts for past 10 hours out of 24 (not lying). Appreciate any help

For #1 I would perhaps post in script support and include a link to the script as well as the error you are getting. It might be something that someone can help you fix.


For #2, I'm not sure what you were searching, but you'd want either a quest or journal script and there are plenty of them out there.

I'm not saying you can't request new scripts, I just think you'll have more luck trying to get help with what already exists than to get 2 completely new scripts made for you.

I don't need quest journal I already have that.


I will post it there too maybe more luck there. Thanks for the link. I'm still not used to navigate the forum.

You could try "RETCON Library - Journal Version 1.2" by Matt (McDohl).


That lets you maintain a "book" (well, a journal book) and you can "write" any text you want in it.


For lockpick scripts, there are several out there for sure, even some evented ones.
