Currently, I'm trying to make a date and time system, much like that in the Persona games, and found out that using the script section of variables, I can easily make variables into string variables as some people probably know pretty well. The problem is, I can't make conditional branches that check for string variables ( I have set my Time to a string variable of either "Morning", "Daytime" or "Evening", and of course I have my Month set to "(CurrentIGMonth)" ) so how would I make the game check for what month it is, or what time it is based on the variables above?
Please help as soon as possible, this is really getting on my nerves..

Thanks for reading - Tevi
If this has already been asked, sorry. I tried searching it but couldn't find anything lol.

tbh I would use numbers rather than strings. Makes it easy to see "what's next" - instead of having 12 conditional branches to see what the month is and set the next month, you just check if the variable is 12 and if it is, set it to 1, otherwise just add 1. Same for morning/daytime/evening - that way you can also use variables in the condition section of event pages to make certain events do certain things at that time of day, without having to use conditional branches.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
