Help setting class ID to a variable in rpg maker vx ace

So I'm trying to make Paladins have a penalty to escape while keeping high AGI for evasion and turn order, so I figure that the best way to do that would be to take down the escape ratio for paladins only, but to do this, I would need to set the character's class to a variable, because I am using Kai Monkey's Character Creation Script ver. 3.0. If anyone can either tell me how to do this or how to do something else to the same effect, that would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about that, this is my first time posting in the forums. I'll keep this in mind in the future and endeavor to post in the correct place from now on.

EDIT: I am now also using the Ace Message Engine, and the Ace Core Engine, but not the Ace Class Engine, if that makes a difference.

EDIT (again): I have found a workaround, but I still would very much like help with this problem, as being able to assign the class number to a variable would greatly help with my project. I have almost no RGSS3 scripting knowledge, so if some veterans could come tell me the probably very easy answer to this problem that I'm probably just being stupid and not getting, I would be quite grateful.

I found it, I was just being blind and not seeing it.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
