Hi everyone! I seem to be having a tiny problem with trying to change my actor from an invisible starting actor to a gender-selected actor.
I followed Syndicate's wonderful character creation tutorial almost to a T (or, so I thought) in order to just give the player a chance to choose character gender and name them. Additionally, I added an image (a solid black png) and scrolling text to give an introduction.
I then set up the event to transfer the player to the starting map (an office space), and all that seems to work great! However, as soon as the player is placed into the starting map/office, it seems that the invisible actor is returned to the party, along with the chosen gender actor, is placed as the player character, and cannot be removed. This causes some imaginably weird moving attempts, as the actor that the player is supposed to be controlling is the invisible one, but the actor they chose is a secondary party member.
I've tried the event of remove actor (starting actor) and add actor (gender-actor), just as is in Syndicate's tutorial, but it doesn't seem to change anything.
Any ideas?
