try creating new project and copy the generated game.rpgproject to overwrite the one in your project folder...

do you encounter something like crashing / restart window / bluescreen / power off when saving your project?

in ACE sometime it caused by that.

Thanks, it works but "unable to load the *.json file" then I replaced all the .json file and all my progress is gone.

How do I solved this issue without replacing all the *.json file?

too bad... unable to load json file.. that means your project corrupted...

in ACE i encounter that type or error twice.  because my laptop got blue screen of death when SAVING the project...

what you can do now... backup your corrupt json files...

replace them all with new files... then one by one copy back your backup corrupt json and check does it error or not...

if it error... change back to new files so it won't error again. and repeat that process...

hopefully not all of them corrupt and you can salvage some of them.

which browser are you using? did you update it yesterday or today?

"Unable to read json" can either mean your project got corrupted, or that your browser got a restriction to accessing local files - the last case has been common for Chrome, Firefox seems to work so far.

This is in the editor, I believe, which I don't think would care what browser you were using.

The beauty of JSON files, as opposed to the rvdata2 files of Ace, is that they're human-readable. So you might be able to open them up and figure out why the editor is rejecting them. If it's only a small issue, you could potentially fix it yourself (use something like Notepad++ that won't add its own control codes - it needs to stay a plain text file). However, if there are large chunks missing or corrupted, that's a different matter altogether.

You didn't answer the first question about what happened last time you used it - did your machine crash or reboot? Did the editor crash? Did you close or shut down without saving your work?

Just FYI, the .rpgproject file is just a text file that has the version number in it, eg

RPGMV 1.0.1

The description sounds more like the drive with the project disappeared, or it was deleted.

Or more obvious... you didn't close RPG Maker MV while operating from a shared/removable drive (eg apple time capsule) so the drive disappeared.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
