Help with a cutscene

okay so im trying to do this cutscene in my game where some of the charecters move around a bit but they keep dissapearing after making their moves. im at a loss so if someone could take a look and help me understand what is going on and how to fix it...

i cut that particular scene out onto its own game so you dont exactly have to sit through anything to get to the cutscene.
please forgive the spries and icons im using ^^; this project isnt somthing i ever plan on selling or anything, its mostly just for me so i did use some sprites and things that are not mine.

It would be better if you posted screenshots of your cutscene event, as not everyone would want to download a game for this.

I don't need to download your game to make a guess, because there are only very few ways an event can disappear.

So how did you make your cutscene? Do you have one controlling event with all the commands, remotely controlling the other events that are only placeholders without any content or trigger (the correct way)
Or did you give each event their own move commands with dozens of autoruns controlled by dozens of switches (the bad way that almost always fails)

That by the way is why we only ask for screenshot of the events, not downloads of entire projects - if done correctly that should be screenshot of a single event containing all commands of the entire cutscene. And then we can look there to find the cause for whatever is still not working.

first i tried to put them all in one command , https://sta.sh/01dpq2glw63j but the movements werent working so i tried separating them into different parts with switches and autoruns and erasing placements and stuff and it worked a bit better, at least the first few movements worked. but afterwards they just disappear.

@jibbly-jang the screenshots you gave are useless, because you cut away the parts that are responsible for your problems.
Events are more than just the contents - and events appear and disappear based on their pages and conditions, the parts you removed from the screenshots.
That is where you made your mistakes and where they need to be corrected, so we need full screenshots of all event pages involved to solve your problem.

And that is also the reason why controlling a cutscene with switches and dozens of autoruns is bad - one wrong switch and the events disappear...

im just trying to make it easier to see them all.. well heres my second try, the one i did after trying to put it all in one persons commands.

and you've told me that 'controlling a cutscene with switches and dozens of autoruns is bad' perhaps you could tell me the preferred way? or like, link a guide?
