So I reused sprites I used for a previous game on the default screen resolution, but I'm remaking this game with the 1024 x 768 resolution.

When making enemy troups, I align the enemies as usual. In battle though, they always appear at the top left part of the screen, like they can't align at the center of the screen. I don't know what the problem might be, since the battle thumbnail in the Troup tab should place the enemies at the center of the screen.

Does someone know what I should change to align the enemies where they should be?

the editor is based on the fixed default screen size and provides absolute coordinates - which no longer fit if you increase the games screen size with a plugin.

you can only correct that by plugin use as well, and there are different plugins handling that in one of two ways - either asking you for number input where to place the enemies directly, or by percentage scaling of the positions.

both ways have their advantages and disadvantages, and you need to look for plugins to do that and test them out what works better for you.

Thank you so much for the quick answer! It makes sense, I'll go ahead and test plugins during the day. I'll modify the post if I have any good results

Olivia's Octopack Battler system aligns battlers for a larger screen resolution. But it changes the battle HUD, you may not want that.

Yes! I'm using the default plugin in the program (''Community_Basic'') where I simply changed the resolution to 1024 x 768. From what @Andar said, I'd need an other plugin to place the sprites at the center of the screen. I'm new to using plugins so I'm still searching for one

Trying out Greedfall. The story is interesting and the voice acting is good, but holy cow are the faces and their animations distractingly terrible.
Ok so I guess I don't need 400+ events on one map.
