Hello I'm finishing up my opening event after it transfers my player I have an event created where he is transferred to where he says one or two things then I want you to be able to move the character on your own but instead it keeps looping. What sequence do I need to use after my 2 texts boxes.

Probably the easiest and most common way to end an autorun event that you don't want to use again is to turn on Self Switch A (or B,C, whatever) at the end of the event then make a second event page with that self-switch as the condition. You can just leave the second page blank; the point is that it won't do anything, anyway.

Autorun events will continue to run until you tell them to stop, so you could do the above or use "exit event processing." That one would make the event run again next time you enter that map; you probably don't want that here, but it can be useful. Good luck!

Yes I can't thank you enough I was trying so many things but none of them were working. That however works perfectly. I wonder if you can help me with one more question. How do I make an NPC give me an item. For instance I want the village elder to give me a empty vial it would be a key item for me to use in the first dungeon.

I'm unfamiliar with MZ, but I assume it's similar to MV. There should be a section under the 1st tab called Party. That's where you can find the commands to give the player items, weapons, armor, gold, etc.

Are you newer to creating games in RPG Maker? I'd recommend watching this video for some of the basics you'll want to know. Really good tutorial and there's quite a bit of videos: MZ Basics

Additionally, there's a tutorial built into the engine if you click Help. I'm pretty sure that mentions the Change Items command. (but it's been ages since I did it, so I could be wrong!)

I added reflections and shadows. Though one of the party seems to have no reflection, is floating, with glowing eyes. I'm sure it's fine.

Well. *That* was an entertaining fustercluck — and that’s not meant nearly as sarcastically as it sounds. I just had to make four different versions of the same conversation:
1: Attained MacGuffin.
2: Have not attained MacGuffin, but know its location.
3: Do not know MacGuffin’s location, but have a good idea where to find it.
4: Do not know where to look for MacGuffin.
Yep, feels good to be back. ^.^
I'm soooooooooo tired TT___TT why can't there be a plugin to let me sleep + work simultaneously ... !!
