Hi there, I'm interested in using Adobe Photoshop to create a tileset for RPG Maker MV. What are the proportions of the basic tileset? Additionally, how big should I make the squares on the grid? I need them to be exactly the same size as the default tilesets so that I don't run into collision issues.

Is the tileset 816x624 like the default screen size?

Why don't you just open up the default tilesets and see how big they are, and how big the tiles are? The help file (F1 from the editor) also has all the resource specifications listed.

just hopped into project recruitment... hoping to maybe find some artists to help with parallax maps and whatnot. I could do them myself, but I'm not really good at it so I'd prefer to stick to my strengths which is character art and SOME UI elements.
