Help with custom tileset?

Hi all. Tilesets are the bane of my existence.

I've started to create a custom tileset for inside, using Inside_A2 as a base (I took the image, created a template from it, and used that to organize my tiles). The tiles are 48 x 48 and I've made the layout it just like Inside_A2. However, when I try and place any of the tiles, it just shows four of the tiles in an order my brain can't seem to figure out.

I know the backgrounds are supposed to be transparent, buuuuut I'm tired and lazy!

Assuming you actually want these to all be 'ground' auto-tiles...

Your spacing between the 'sets' is incorrect

Yep. Look at the default tiles and follow their lead. The help file also explains things.

Your tilesheet images need to be exactly the right size (depending on what slot you're putting them into), and contain exactly the right type of tiles.

There is also a good blog article on "the anatomy of an autotile" that might be helpful to you.
