I'm making a game for qixi festival but the problem is i don't know how to make Chinese map so can someone please tell me about qixi festival and Chinese map. Should I just make a normal map like this or do i have to do something different for Chinese map?
Are you asking for peoples knowledge about the qixi festival (in which case wouldnt google serve better in most cases for information) or where to get tilesets that fits a modern chinese map?
The problem, its not easy to exactly say how to make a chinese map. The best we could do (though anybody with better ideas feel free to jump in) is advice you to google pictures for chinese festivals, maybe with some keywords like gamemap/rpg maker map to see if anybody has done something that can give you inspiration for how to make your own map. And if you are lacking tilesets possible direct you towards suitable tileset and what they are if that knowledge is sought after.
What I'm looking is knowledge about china like what shops they have or how there residential area and office area look how there shopping area look i tried searching for this on Google but i didn't find much
I really think you need to try googling harder, but, anyways:
China is going to look different depending on where you go, it's a huge country.
The large metropolitan areas along the Eastern-to-Southern valley and coast are similar to many East Asian countries, such as Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan.
Try looking at Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing, and Harbin (Though, admittedly, Harbin has a lot of Russian influence in its architecture)
Here are some photos from when I lived in Beijing (don't ask me to speak Chinese, I cannot)
Little bit of Beijing city (yes, it is frequently this smoggy, though not always...just...most of the time...70%)
This is the residential block I stayed in:
I don't have pictures of the room I stayed in, but here is the first apartment I lived in when I moved to Japan. Like I said, East Asian countries have similar designs. The apartment is small, everything you see here is the whole place besides a small bathroom and the entry way just behind the camera.
And here is a small residential shopping street - still Japan, but there were similar streets like this in China too.
I used to vlog my time in China until the depression of being trapped there caught up to me. I have since privated the vlogs a long time ago, but I'll give you access. You can ignore whatever bullshit I am talking about in the videos; the main point is that moving pictures are going to paint an image 1000x more clear than a single image. (in fact, taking the time to gather the links and just rewatching snippets is unbearable for me to watch. I can't listen to myself. Please mute the audio!)
(Shakey camera in coming)
These 2 videos are in Shenzhen:
Shopping in Beijing city:
(Major shopping area that foreigners frequent)
Walking around the residential area I stayed:
Some nature stuff:
Outside of the Eastern-to-Southern valley, once you cross the mountains to the West, it becomes a different kind of China. I imagine whatever event thing you are talking about, however, is thinking about the metropolitan area of China.
If you want to see all over China, I definitely Recommend ADV China, and the hosts of ADV China's own individual Youtube channels, Serpentza and Laowhy86. They have toured on Motorbikes across the whole country and have discussed and even shown many interesting parts of China.
ADV China
Serpentza
Laowhy86
Good luck with your project, hope all that stuff helps you.

Shower Thoughts: ". . . Scammers would be OP in the Elder Scrolls. They could just get speech 100 and blatantly ask everyone for all of their money, and everyone would think it's a great investment. And then after being robbed blind, they'd say, with a smile on their face, 'need something?' "
Day #2 for advent is compiled. Please, go to their threads to share love! But, if you wanna talk to me…what’s your favorite Christmas carol or holiday song?
