I’ve downloaded the MOG Battle HUD for RPG Maker MV. When I turned the plugin on and went into a battle, it either said “Cannot read Property “3” undefined” or “Failed to load img/battlehud layer.png.”

Can someone please help me? What does this mean?

@Camtheman Many of Moghunter's plugins require images, which are in his Master Demo project. Copy those required images into your project and modify them to fit what you need.

Could you be a bit more specific on what I need to do?

@Camtheman There is not much more to be specific about. If you REALLY want specifics, just check the page of the plugin in question on MOG's website.

Inside the picture folder in his demo theres a folder called battlehud. You need to copy that to your game.

How do I copy to the game? Put the folder in the game’s folder?

Yes. Just copy the folder battlehud from his image folder into the imagem folder of you game.

You will have to provide the necessary images for each character of your game, of course.

By necessary images do you mean just the face images of the characters?

There's nothing I can say to be more specific. You could post a printscreen of the error and I can try help. Buf if problem is only lack of image you can just copy the folders from moghunder master plugin into you own game.

In Mog's master demo, when you unzip it there's the master demo folder and a battle hud folder. Inside the battle hud folder are several different layouts. Choose the one you like and copy the .js file to your projects plugin folder and the other files are the images that the plugin looks for. They will need to be copied to the img/ folder under battlehud. I recommend opening the images in an art program like GIMP or Photoshop to see how everything is layed out so you can change images and what not.

Hope this helps.

It does sometimes get a little embarrassing that I often come here to ask for help with something and seldom have anything to actually show for it. If there is one thing though I can commend myself for, it's for sticking with an idea I've been tinkering with for this long now and gradually making headways. Even though I've been reserved about my progress, I can say I'm farther now than where I initially started.
I'm gonna put my project on pause for a tiny bit so I can explore the engine outside of it... Winging it can only get you so far LMFAO

Haven't been on here actively in awhile, project is going strong my biggest issue is the STORY, i'm refining the plot and learning so much i decided to take a writers class to improve even more but the programming and functionality of the game is stepping up nicely!
