I need some help in optimising my game.

1 -I literally have hundreds of events on each stage, because they act as a tile that you need to step on then disappear to reveal the background.See the screenshot in spoiler below for an example. Once they are triggered the tile events are erased but still, along with the parallax background it results in loading screens, a lowish framerate and audio delay when played in a browser, and I would like to improve it. Do you have any suggestions? Is there a way to make the parallax background lighter. Also, the lightest sound file is .ogg, correct?

2 - I am using a player touch to trigger a hit when the player and a mob are on the same tile. However because the check is tile based, rather than hitbox based, if the player and the mob facing each other enter a tile between them, the knockback is triggered visually too early, resulting in an odd effect. I have tried to use a plugin as pixel move, but then it doesn't work very well with the uncovering tiles thing and also I could not find a way to disable diagonal movement, despite changing it value to zero. Any suggestions?

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
