help with VisuStella MZ's Battle Core plugin (Action Sequences)

Hi. First, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for help with this plugin, so, forgive me if this thread is in the wrong place.
Second, I think this is a dumb question, but I just can't make it work and couldn't find answers...

I can set up action sequences for skills, but I can't use the custom damage formula...
If I make an action sequence that adds a state to the target, it works. But if I make an action sequence that deals custom damage formula, it won't work. I think I may be using the wrong syntax in the formula. Please, help.

Here are my settings:

Spoiler: My common event

Spoiler: My skill

Spoiler: Plugin parameters, damage style is set to Manual

Spoiler: enemy is affected by the state, but didn't take damage

Also, is there a way to change the state icon position so it won't stay behind the HP bar? I don't want to move the HP bar...

You've done "action effect" at a point where the damage formula is nothing (since the default skill settings don't hae one) and then changed it to something else after the action effect has already happened. You need to make sure the formula gets changed before the action effect command.

I just needed to set the damage type... now that it looks like this, it works just fine.
