Here I am again, with another difficult request! (I think)
My problem is that: I want only passives to be "equipable", but I really don't know how. I don't want to end up with characters with a million passives!
If someone with greater knowledge of Yanfly's plugins, I'd be very thankful.

I have this feature for one of my in progress games. I haven't touched it in a while but here's what I've taken from looking through it: You can have armors have passive states by inserting in the notetag <Passive State: x>, x being the number of the state. :kaojoy:

There is also a yanfly plugin which would allow multiple equipment slots with the same name that share the same equipment types, the Equip Core plugin.

Hope this helped! :kaoswt:

No, that's not it. I don't want equipment to have passive states. I want learned passive states to be equipable through Yanfly's Equip Battle Skills plugin. The problem is, I just want passive skills/states to be equipable, nothing else.

So, let me get a grasp on what you want here, exactly.
You want passive skills/states to be equippable, but not other skills?

Like, this is how my game is set up now.
Each character can equip 5 normal skills, 2 Passive Skills, that give passive states when equipped, and 1 Ultimate Skill.

From what I gather, you just want the skill equipping to only apply to Passive Skills, and all other skills not have to be equipped to be used?

You need the next Yanfly plugin in the list, Equip Battle Skills Allowed Types. That way, when you use the Equip Battle skills system, you can define which skill types will work normally. Place that under the Equip Battle Skills in the plugin list. Then you define all the normal skill types in the later one to work normally, so only the status skills you want are left to be in the equip system.

Thanks, I somehow got it to work!

-I installed the plugins you said
-I put all active skills in the Allowed Skill Types List
-Somehow, the passive I left out can now be "equipable"! (All I did was make it being on the "Passives" list instead of being on "Passives" and the skill type that can be learned at the same time! [Somehow])

Thank you very much, and everyone who tried to help!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
