Scripts in Question:
and
http://hikimoki.sakura.ne.jp/plugin/jump_action.html
Hello! I am current having an issue with the compatibility of two scripts. One being the Zelda Style Transitions and the other the untranslated TMJump Action script, which functions as a platformer. Now while it isn't entirely incompatible, with the platformer, there are some major issues:
1.Due to how gravity works, the horizontal velocity of the jumping actions will cause transfering while mid-jump to often cause the player to end up behind where the camera pans to, resulting in the player being entirely offscreen and having to 'catchup' with the camera.
2. Presumably due to how friction is handled, the player can end up on the map's edge during transition, resulting in an eternal loop of the player being bounced back and for between the two areas with no ability to input any action, a game breaking glitch.
Is there any help I can get on this? Also please let me know if I neglected to include any information.
