I've been a few weeks in this forum now, but never too late to introduce, right? 


So.. in the Internet I use to call myself Henryetha, however my real name is Jennifer, I live in Germany and I'm 33 years.


Since I've been a little girl, I play videogames.


January I finally started to make my own with RPG Maker MV.


It's the super surprising genre "fantasy/adventure rpg", lol


Well, this simply fits most to my expectations.


I like to focus on nostalgic feelings for the player, aswell as classical RPG elements but also a (near endless) possible character development, like it is often found in ARPGs.


So I put alot of effort in pretty much everything, but especially in music & sounds, aswell as in an appropiate athmosphere.


I don't plan to make any profit with this game.


I only work on it for the sake of the love I've always felt for videogames.


And my skills in graphic design and scripting are quite limited and I don't want the game to miss any aspect just because the ressource wasn't free for commercial use.


So that's why - for me - it was decided since the beginning, that this game will be free.


Although already ~510 hours spent, my RPG is still at a very early stage.


I hope to be able to advance enough during the next months to at least open a Facebook Page about its development.


But for now it's (imo) still too "raw"

Thank you for commenting on my introduction thread! Im sorry I couldn't find the video you mentioned. It's so cool to meet a fellow woman who also loves games. I often feel alone as a gamer. I started playing video games at 6 years old and I have loved video games ever sense. If you ever want to chat about making games, or just games in general, feel free to write me! I'll be buying RPG maker in the near future, so it's all a new adventure for me.

You've clocked a lot of hours already into your project and it's speaking well of your reservation to "jump the gun" by opening up a project thread. However, it seems like you're doing very well with keeping yourself internally motivated to keep on working.
