Maps: Chapter 1 is all done excluding the dungeon.
Eventing: Very little. But anyone, and I mean anyone, who'd be willing to help me or walk me through on how to do so, accomadations will be released with the game.

Anyone who help me with this project will:
• Credit for there contribution.

• Make their own End-Game content. (Meaning you make a character, dungeon, boss, or whatever; and I will implement it into the game once the "Door" is open. So technically before final dungeon)

 

 



STORY

 
 

In the City of Almia far in the depths of Castle Alm lies a door. Behind this door is still a mystery. Treasure, Demons, another world, who knows. What the people do know, is that there are 7 Gems that will open the door. Their whereabouts are also unknown but to a handful of people called the Protectors. They live among citizens and villages, while guarding the stone.

Our Story begins with a man named Drake, The village Protector Vítr is generally a peaceful, secluded town in the middle of the Forest of Zelban. A few days ago, monsters have been attacking the town. Drake continuously tries to put an end to it but he realizes that the Wind Gem is missing. He searches the Forest for it but finds it to no avail. What he does find is an unconscious redhaired priest named Rose. Drake takes her back to the village despite his primary duty as a Protector.  

The next day, she wakes up in Vítr with amnesia. Drake leaves as shes waking up and she wants to go with him. Since he's living in secret, she cannot. As he is leaving she follows him. Drake makes it to the the Gems holding place, and Rose reveals herself to him. They search for the gem and in the back of the Temple is the First Boss.

This fight is literally, a guaranteed loss for story reasons.

Drake

Age - 21
Class - Dragoon (Final Fantasy Dragoon minus the Jump Skill) Spear
Heroic, brave, selfless; but very reluctant to anything that's not permitted.



Rose

Age - 20
Class - Cleric (Healing spells, Light-based spells, and ridiculous M.Def) Staff
An amnesiac cleric that has no idea who or where she really is.



Talon

Age - 17
Class - Rogue (High Evasion and Speed, most skills are dirrected to negative ailments) Claw
Quiet and Mysterious. Perhaps he knows something you do not?



Luna

Age - 22
Class - Mage (Elemental-based spells, and massive M.Atk) Tome
Sophisticated, yet lethal. She seems really depressing due to being an overly honest wall flower



Arc

Age - 16
Class - Archer (Never misses, can't be blinded, and decent evasion) Bow
Being a kid, very full of himself; but he does know when it is his place to speak.



Colt

Age - 24
Class - Knight (High defense, decent offense, but can die from a campfire) Hammer
Very straight forward, has no time to waste, and misunderstanding of Drakes "slow and steady" idea of traveling



Sol

Age - 22
Class - Warrior (High Attack, decent Defense, won't burn do death, but still gets hit alot) Sword
He is very calm about most things, really the light of the team (Get it?), Wants nothing but free time to do as he pleases.

SYSTEM PLUGINS

 
 

•Cellicoms_RarityItemColor - I plan to have a very indepth rarity chart (9 ratings) 

 
 

•YEP_SkillCore - Throughout the game you will find many gems, ores, and such that will be used for making skills for each character. (Limit Break Skill is universal) 

 
 

•Szyu_CraftingSystem - As you craft skills, you craft weapons.

Iconset at the bottom is free to use, credit to Ying, and Square Enix. NON-COMMERCIAL ONLY because of Yings' rule for his collection.

 
 

•YED_TransferStealState - Solely for Talon as he is the rogue/thief of the group. pretty self explanitory. 

 
 

•Ellye_BattleATB - Rather of the traditional Final Fantasy VI ATB, this is more like FFX's CTB. Turns will go based of speed, speed boosts, etc. 

 
 

•YEP_VictoryAftermath - Just for a little flavor to the end of endless battles 

 
Any other plugin suggestions may be used and appreciated.

Is that iconset you have attached free to use? Because I so badly need more variety with my icons and I love how they look

Ummm... Yeah, Non-Commercial only, Credit goes to Square Enix Co. Ltd /  Ying (Spriter here somewhere) / and 2 more that I can't seem to find where I got them. I plan on reduxing this

since not many iconsets are too impressive yet. Credit to Square.

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
