hey new to the whole rpg maker thing and need help

i don't know if this forum is for developers or not but i'm posting anyway

when trying to download a game that needs rpgmaker vx ace it Does not download as a folder containing the game but as a internet explorer link or a blank document it happens on multiple games

Then either the original game uploads are damaged (contact the game creator/uploader, nothing we can do about that) or you're making a mistake when down loading.
Ace games should be exe files, and you should be able to right-click and save as in your Browser.

Something is blocking the link or your browser is messed up. Try using a different browser.
