Yo ! I've already made a few posts, but it's never too late to get a solid footing in the community, so I would like to introduce myself really quick !

I'm not necessarily new to rpg maker [ I've used vx ace for about two years now, and I hope to get mv when I actually get the cash ], but I am new to the forum, so I'm glad to meet everyone here ! I'm penguinaire [ but feel free to shorten that however you please - pen, pengu, whatever floats your boat] !

My favorite game is final fantasy iv, which probably proves I don't have the best taste, but oh well. I'm also incredibly inspired by games such as pokemon mystery dungeon, or literally any Kirby game. Also, who is with me that king dedede is perhaps the best penguin in video game history ?

I'm an English major [ a strange profession for an aspiring game designer - I really should have went for computer programming, but I'm fine with this fate ] and a kid with very few hobbies besides watching lets plays or playing Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I'm also an artist [ but one who is much better at pixel art than standard digital art, because colors. I'm not a great artist ] and head market-lady/concept artist for an unpopular podcast. I also hope to get decent at making game music, but for now, my four years of band class hasn't paid off.

Game-wise, comedy games are some of my favorite to make, but I'm definitely not opposed to modern adventures and fantastical epics. For now, I hope to get better and learn more about game design, which is why I made my account !

Right now, I'm working on a fangame for the Game Grumps [ which, depending on how you construe it, could be super embarrassing or totally cool ]. I hope to make it to where people who aren't fans can get into it, too ! It's a somewhat generic fantasy comedy game, but I've grown super attached to it [ it's been a whole year since I started planning it... A whole year ....]. Hopefully, I can get around to implementing a decent combat system and make the story/comedy as clever as I can !
