Hi All!!!

Hello everyone. I just recently obtained RPG Maker MV from my brother that bought it for me since I showed a lot of interest in it. anyways, I did wanna get into this, and already have put well over 200+ hours into it(I know I know... its not that much..and what makes me happy is, I don't see myself being done untill 2000+ hours if not 20,000+ hours of my time is put into this.)


I truly wanna set up a lot. I've made my own town, full stocked with an inn, a weapon shop, armor shop, potion shop. Some random houses, a lotta possible npcs for various things. The overworld for the 'starter island' , and a few places to be able to go as well.


Well... Thats just what I've got so far, I wont ask my questions here(it'd be nice to be told where to ask them though ha ha!)


anyways, nice to meet any and all of you. Glad to be aboard. Sorry that I am relatively new at this. i've got no experience with this but i'm willing to dedicate hours and days and even weeks of learning.

Glad to hear that you're having such a fun time with RPG Maker MV.


If you're unsure of where to post your questions you'll want to spend a little bit of time reviewing the primary rules in the tab at the top of the website.


Within each sub-forum you'll find a pinned topic that has additional rules for that sub-forum specifically. Such as how long you have to wait before bumping your topic, content that should be posted, and many other things.


Just to get you started, post general help questions about the maker in the RPG Maker MV sub forum


If you need help with plugins, use the appropriate plugin forum


Resources go in resource requests


and so on. It becomes intuitive once you spend a bit of time looking around.

Setting a town sure takes a lot of time. ^^


I did missed out some doors in towns, windows in basement, etc. Gona work on that. xDD

yup. Trying to not make it look too complex for my starter island. You know, the basic rpg tutorial island everyone knows and loves.


in other news... yanfly has set me back maybe 50-100hours in work BUTTT has drastically improved my game already! I never knew the power of plugins like this!!! I saw all his work for those plugins were free to use, and began experimenting, I currently have every single one downloaded and put into my js file(not all are turned 'ON' such as the ATB system, but yeah  )


Ty yanfly, you'll be getting more than just a free game from me when this is done. Same with Ækashics Librarium


so where would I go to ask about Yanfly's JS plugins? like my question is what order should I be putting them in(sorry you dont need to answer here, just tell me where to post my question)
