I also draw(and do various other types of art), but I can't really maintain consistency from image to image so a character may not always look like the same character... ><
"Manga Maker ComiPo!" allows me to get a few models and reuse them rather than starting from scratch each time so consistency is better. Unfortunately I need to figure out how to make .obj files(correctly formatted, not just a switched extension) in order to make my own resources for it.
It actually uses 3D models for most things, these can be rotated and zoomed as needed to give different perspectives and so-on. Only 3D models I have ever made(that were decent anyway) were for Sculptris(from Pixologic, it is a partner program for their professional program, "ZBrush") and that uses a proprietary file format that isn't compatible so I'll need to basically learn from scratch.
