Those of you who are good at deciphering usernames will probably have realised my name is Paul! The even more observant will have clued up on my second name. "Thompson". The "omg" factor is mind-blowing I know...
I am quickly approaching the end of my rebellious youth, as I turned 19 this May, yet sometimes I can't help feeling that an 8 year old can be more mature than me!
I am currently studying a B.A in Drama, and I am currently writing a short film. This is where RPG Maker comes in... With budgets for films, even at indie level, exceeding £100,000 (If you go cheap) I have come to RPGmaker to create stories through gameplay! It is the beauty of the arts, everything is interlinked!
So if I haven't brought up any will to leave this page (Thank You) then perhaps you will say hello, and if you are feeling more daring than Indiana Jones buzzed off Red Bull, then you might want to have a chat with me sometime! #friendly

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
