Hi, my name's Evan Waters. I picked up RPG Maker MV on a Steam sale some time ago but have only recently just started really delving into it.
Right now my major interests are around hacking the mechanics to create something what I like, trying to figure out how the program basically handles things and then how to change that. Trying to get a tactical thing going too. And I've looked at a parallax mapping tutorial so I can do some graphical tweaking now.
I told myself my first project would be something simple and straightforward using mostly the vanilla tools but that lasted about two seconds.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
