Always feel weird posting these things.  Want to say hi though as I hope I'll be spending a lot of time here in the future.  I have owned RPG Maker VX Ace for a while, but never really cracked it open.  I've been a video game fanatic since the Atari (dating myself, I know), and have always been a fan of RPG's.  I'm at a place in my life where I really want to try to develop a game and see where I can take it.  I'm starting at square one.  I've went through Andar's beginners guide, and have made a complete to-do list of how I want to proceed learning the software.  It's going to be quite the long process, but I'm planning on being here every day to read up and participate, and I'm sure ask for some guidance along the way.  Anyway, if you read this, thanks, and glad to meet you!
