My profile carries most of the personal information that I’ll be reiterating and expanding on here.
23yo male, junior at uni pursuing a BA in Journalism; I freelance for a local paper and an online website that focuses on entertainment. I’m at a desk for the better part of 50 hours every week (or just half of that - the other half are on my feet) as the overnight assistant manager at a nearby retailer, which translates to me having so much time to dick around on my phone (or, more realistically, to complete schoolwork and work on personal projects in my spare time).
I’m heavily involved in community activism and have and continue to contribute to various political events on a national level (the most recent was arranging a local chapter to drive up to DC and participate in the Dreamer’s March last December).
I have two labs, four cats, two rats, and a ball python. My favorite dog was a Pyreneese that died two years ago.
I write poetry, short fiction, and music. I read academic and philosophical texts, and occasionally squeeze in some fiction for fun. I practice boxing at a local gym, I run with my dogs, and I sometimes play video games.
I have OCD, and am learning how to be a better person.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
