It's hot as hell here, so it only makes sense that one of its denizens is this week's battler: the Demon! This freaky fiend is your heroes' worst nightmare come to life! The recolors have a variation of it without the angel, in case you just wanted the demon by itself.

Happy game making! :rwink:

WOW!!! You have some mad skills :D I mean we knew this, but it's good to be reminded again .XD
The first and last colors are my favorite and the little angel makes it so much creepier...

Thanks for sharing <3

@Nightshade Well, I think the demon is usable even without those things, but there's a sprite in the default big monster sheet and Cronus made a face for it over in their thread, so... :rwink:

@gigaswardblade I'm not sure what issue you ran into, since I just double-checked and the kitchen sink download does have those pieces. Here's a link to it again, you should be able to find the orc and chinese outfits in it. If not, then something weird's going on. :rswt

And those recolors!! I saw the amazing battler and was like ".. hmm.. I wonder if I could convince her to do one without the fallen angel.. " and you already had!! You're fantastic @hiddenone !!

@gigaswardblade Sorry, not all of my pieces have matching faceset parts and the braided ponytail hair is one of those. Someone did make faceset parts for it and posted it somewhere in this thread, but I'm not quite sure where... :rswt

@M.I.A. Yeah, as I was working on it I realized how easy it would be to make the two variations, so I had to do it after that. :guffaw:

Thank you very much for all your beautiful creations, @hiddenone. Because I love the braided ponytail in your great generator pack and I thought it was a shame there was no Face part, I attempted to make it myself. I know it's not perfect, but I think it's good enough to be used. I thought I would leave it here, in case you want to include it in your pack:

I think this is the post mentioned.

I love your sv battlers. Want to see if they work in VX Ace as well, with Holder's template,
I was wondering though, how come the rat seems front-view?

@BCj If you also own MV, feel free to set these up in Holder's format for use in Ace. :) The rat looks odd because I based pretty much all of these of the default monsters and it just so happens that the rat image seems like it's facing forward. I'm thinking of making a new rat battler, but don't know when I'll get around to it.

I own MV, yes :)
Vibrato also has some lovely sideview monsters, perhaps those could be of interest for you as well to animate? Or base it on.

@BCj Right now I just want to make battlers based on the mv defaults or my own ideas (mostly because then I don't need to worry about terms for everything :rswt), but thanks for the suggestion.

I've got a special thing this week, the start of a new series of SV battlers! Check it out, it's even got a name:
The Wildlife Series will be focused on natural animals, instead of just the default mv monsters. So for those of you clamoring for normal creatures to face, you're in luck! While I'll still be adding to my monster battlers, every few weeks we'll get a new addition to the Wildlife Series.

We're starting off the series with a trickster: the Fox! This little fella is cute and fluffy, but don't let it fool you; it's got one heck of a bite! Be careful to keep your heroes from trying to pet this beast, or else they'll lose a finger!

But wait, there's more!
:2k31:
Because I can't do something halfway, there's a special feature of the Wildlife Series: mystical versions of the animal! So for those of you who don't want to beat up a normal fox, here's a magical alternative: the 3-Tailed Fox! This critter has some powerful magic (stored in its tails) on its side, so be extra careful in battle!

So, what do y'all think of this new series, any animals you're looking forward to? Any cool ideas for mystical versions? Let me know, and I may add them to my list to make. And as always, happy game making! :rwink:

I like this new series.
It would be very interesting to see some versions of wyverns similar to the dragon battler.:kaocry:
