Hello all.

brand new to this forum and the hobby. I love the sprites and pieces here! I was wondering how do i use the "sprite templates" and actually modify them in the generator? I tried the load settings but they only look for json assets not pngs.

Also, I am using MZ if that matters, but most of it seems to be the same.

Question... do you think maybe just possibly pretty please you could consider making taller sprite pieces/pack to work with Schlangan's Generator?

@ct_bolt That's unlikely, if only because I tried to set them up with Schlangan's generator a while back and failed miserably. It would be nice if they could be used in the generator, I'm just don't have the time to learn how to make that generator behave at the moment.

but I would totally be willing to make it work and port it all to the generator for us all
...but I just need the pieces separated and stuff

..but for real no biggie if not, I fully understand time constraints and such just really would love to make generated taller sprites with your outstanding artwork

Sooo in summary if you got pieces, etc for the awesome taller sprites that would be awesome! but also totally cool if not... just appreciate the work you do either way

Actually to be perfectly honest it ultimately wouldn't even only be for me to end up for the generator, I actually have plans to make a layering plugin that I would love to use the pieces of taller sprites with

The sprites I refer to when talking about the taller sprites are the Hine Sprite Series ones.
(not sure if I was confusing or not)
...I don't really ever know how to make a well worded post lol

As long as you own MV, you can. Some of these are edits of the MV RTP, so that means you have to own MV to use them.

Hey.

I did download the kitchen sink package, which should contain everything, but... Well, I have an issue with the animal character, for which I downloaded the pack.

I think this image speaks for itself.



So the face sets do change, but other parts do not. I can't find any parts that I was supposed to add/replace to fix this, like with the neck/shoulder parts.

Are those parts only for character faces? Because I think (or hope) you just forgot to add those parts to the download, when you made the kitchen sink folder. If that is the case, please share the missing parts. This has so much possibilities, but without those parts, none of it will work.

I did try to add the beast folder separately, but that link doesn't work.

@Semolous29 I already responded in your request thread, but I'll repeat it here: yes, you can repost my soldier sprite to get recolors of it in your request thread.

@JohnDoeNews The thing with the generator is that you can't change the base body without some workarounds. I found those out with MZ, so for these MV pieces I had to jump through some hoops to get it working. The beastman bodies should be found under the Facial Mark section (unless I'm remembering wrong ), so you need to change both the Face and Facial Mark to get all the pieces to show.

Awesome. Ill take a look at it again in the morning. I am glas it wasnt useless after all. The parts look amazing, so it would be nice if it could be used too.
