Greetings everyone,
I am currently making a game and i have some hidden secrets in it that are supposed to be unlocked during gameplay, sadly you are able to just open up the graphics or audio folders and find the files containing said secrets, such as pictures in PNG format etc.

i searched the internet and saw that some games managed to do hide these resources, but found no clue on how to achieve it.

i ttried compressing the data in various files like .zip and .rar but then the game itself couldnt find them anymore either :/

does anyone have an idea how to hide those files?

PS: if i compress the game into a EXE file it just extracts the contents (like the graphics folder, audio folder etc), functioning basically like an instalation file.

You have to encrypt your game, when you compress it. The audio folder will still be available, but the graphics folder will be hidden.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
