History / Story Background Plugin

I can find Item, Enemy, and People Book Plugins, but does anyone where I can find a plugin for World History/Story background Plugin?


I'm thinking something along the lines of the Codex's in Dragon Age, where if the player want to have additional knowledge about a location, religion, world event they can read about it via the plugin.

My guess would be that it doesn't exist because most people just use events to do this. There are different ways you could accomplish it with events - some people have have bookshelves around with information in "books" the player can read on the shelves. You could set up an item of some sort - a book or scroll or something - and use an event to display the text you want.


I might be wrong and it exists out there, and if for whatever reason you still want this to be done by plugin, by all means go for it. Just trying to offer up an alternative.
