Moving this to the Art, Music & Literature forum,

I quite like those! I really like this one, since she's so perfectly centered on the rule of thirds.

I do more stock photography of objects. Like this:

Those certainly are nice, Dr. Yami. There's something calming about them...might be the colors? Or perhaps the composition. I'm no photography expert. I only know what I like. And I like those photos. XD

That picture of the book is quite nice, too, Celianna. And, despite my love/hate relationship with cats, yours is pretty. The eyes....the eyes!!!

Here's one of the cathedral in my area. This is only a front view of it...I probably could have fit more if I backed off a bit more, but I really liked how the two towers (lul) kind of framed the shot. Even then, it's still a bit off-center. Again, I'm no photography expert!! D:

@Celianna: Wow they look good xD I'm not good at setup things to take stock photo, but I have a macro lens! xD

@Clydous: I often shoot off center and/or tilt a bit too, but I rotate and crop them in post process :3

I love messing around with color and lighting, and love film color <3

Here is a shot at a city park

I don't really know anything proper about cameras and taking photos but I do like to take pictures of landscapes and subjects at times.

    A piglet.

Macro picture of an injury on a basidiocarp type fungi. Sort of looks like an entrance to a cave. Maybe that's a great dungeon idea waiting to happen!

I'm really impressed with how clear all the detail in your figurine photo is, Dr. Yami. I often get fuzziness.

A lot of talent here and yeah I'm jealous of the clarity of that figurine macro as well. I have an old fashion film camera but other than that just basic (now terribly outdated) digital point and shoot cameras...still I enjoy taking pictures here and there.  Mostly of plants & animals.

Most of my lenses are SLR lenses, so they are very outdated xD But I love their build and sharpness tho :3

I enjoy taking plants too :o

Good idea for a thread! I love so many of your pictures. I need to get out and get into an urban setting sometime. And the figurines are really spectacular - they look like a drawing!

@Cel - I love all of those, but the matches! So funny!

@Clyodus - Very nice! I like the perspective!

@Athryll - Love the nature pics!

@Meg - That fungi so needs to be a battler!

I have my own thread with some of my pics. I'm just getting into it and haven't really learned about editing them with filters at all yet.

There are a few more in my flickr album. A lot of my pics are my kids so there aren't too many there, as I don't post a lot of those publically.

But, I do love these two I took of my daughter at her birthday party. She tends to photograph well and it catches a bit of her personality. They're not as crisp as I would like, but ah well.

Lots of great photos Yami! Personally I really love the graininess many of them have, gives them a very nice feel.

I've done some hobby photography myself, although it's been a while now. One I'm particularly happy with that was a super lucky shot was this one, from a bird park in the Netherlands:

Oops haven't updated this topic for a while :'D

@Galenmereth: I really love that angle! My friends often tell me that my horizontal shots are boring, now I see this inspiring example!

Anyway, now I'm into cinematic photography :D

You can look on my photos here https://500px.com/dmitrenko

In fact I start make digital photos since 2001, via 2 Megapixel(!) camera.

Now it's hobby + additional source of income. I do commercial photos from time to time.

I love photography and lately I just keep my bloody-heavy DSLR in my bag inside my room. Previously, I used Lenovo P770's camera. But now I'm using Asus Zenfone 2 camera to capture anything that caught my attention vith VSCO Cam as post-processing-ish software.

I did a few photography bits as a favour for a friend of mine, though I'm not real photographer, even as a hobbyist. A few shots I did.
